Christian Carrette born in Roubaix (FR, 1953) started painting late. In 2008, he took a course at the art academy of Menen (BE).

Later, he continued to study the technique of painting at the art academy of Kortrijk (BE). Since then, painting has become a great passion.

He started painting people and portraits and evolved towards abstract and figurative art. In his works he often works around the woman; her beauty, emotions and the balance between strength and weakness. Each painting is done with an eye for details and to perfection.
